Principal Coastal Geomorphologist in British Columbia

Lead transformative coastal projects as a Principal Coastal Geomorphologist with WSP in British Columbia. Your role encompasses managing multidisciplinary teams and advancing innovative geomorphological solutions. In this principal position, you will oversee projects from the proposal phase to completion, using your extensive expertise in erosion, sediment transport, and hazard mitigation. Mentorship for junior staff will enhance team capabilities, while fostering client relationships is key in expanding business opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee geomorphology projects to ensure quality and compliance
• Foster strong client relationships for business growth
• Manage geoscience analyses and environmental assessments
• Spearhead shoreline restoration and hazard mitigation work
• Collaborate effectively while managing project parameters Requirements:
• Master's degree in a relevant field required
• Skilled Geoscientist registration or eligibility within 6 months
• Minimum 15 years of consulting or relevant experience
• Expertise in water resources and geohazards
• Strong collaboration and leadership qualities Drive successful geomorphological initiatives while enhancing team success at WSP.
