The Principal Originator role falls within the MRES-ET division. You will lead commercial structuring, negotiate complex energy contracts, and develop strategic business relationships with utilities and corporate clients. As part of an innovative team, you’ll play a key role in expanding integrated energy solutions. Key Responsibilities:
• Originate and advance opportunities in renewable energy
• Negotiate power purchase agreements and energy contracts
• Design solutions to meet client energy needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project delivery
• Evaluate market trends for business growth Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years in energy origination or commercial development
• Strong skills in negotiating complex transactions
• CFA or P.Eng certification is an asset
• Proven experience with corporate and utility clients Drive strategic projects in renewable energy while thriving in a collaborative environment at METLEN.
