Join ATB Capital Markets in Calgary as an Investment Banking Analyst specializing in Energy. Contribute to M&A activities and deliver impactful financial solutions to clients while gaining hands-on experience. As a key member of the Energy & Infrastructure group, you will provide extensive support across various transaction processes. This role emphasizes collaboration with senior bankers, conducting research, and offering technical evaluations for asset acquisitions. With a focus on upstream, midstream, and renewables, your analysis will drive significant strategic insights for our clients. Key Responsibilities:
• Support Investment Banking and M&A activities diligently
• Evaluate assets for acquisition and divestment opportunities
• Maintain and develop databases for transaction references
• Assist senior bankers on financing and M&A projects
• Conduct in-depth industry and company research Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology, or Geophysics
• MBA, CFA, CA, CPA, or CBV completed or nearly complete
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Prior experience in upstream energy or investment banking
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication Utilize your analytical skills in investment banking and energy sectors to contribute to ATB Capital Markets success.
