Atb Internal Controls Specialist Position Calgary

Shape the future of risk management at ATB as an Internal Controls Specialist. Engage in a hybrid work environment to enhance controls and mitigate risks effectively. This role encompasses permanent and temporary positions, focusing on evaluating financial controls and assisting with governance. You will engage with multiple stakeholders to ensure effective control operations, addressing gaps and ensuring regulatory compliance. Your analytical skills will drive success in financial risk management across all processes.
Key Responsibilities Map financial risks using standardized templates
Conduct end-to-end testing of control effectiveness
Advise partners on risk mitigation and ICOFR
Document progress on remediation efforts
Collaborate with external auditors and internal teams
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
5+ years of relevant experience in controls or audit
CPA or CIA designation essential
Strong analytical and team-oriented skills
Banking or financial services background preferred
Utilize your skills to enhance ATB's control workplace and foster sustainable financial practices.
