As our Nurse Manager, you are a leader in shaping the culture of the clinic. At Twig, we are focussed on delivering a best-in-class experience throughout the entire patient journey. With you at the helm, you will lead a team of nurses who are critical to our success.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain clinical workflow processes, policies and procedures, and EMR documentation, working together with the clinical leadership team
- Develop an educational library for patients
- Ensure high quality and timely communication between patients and the nursing team
- Assist in the recruitment of clinical and nursing staff
- Create a robust onboarding program for new nursing staff
- Oversee the team of nurses and ensure that they are meeting their day to day responsibilities
- Manage nursing schedules including weekend and holiday coverage
- Gather and provide feedback to senior leadership on process and quality improvements ideas
- Regular nursing duties including but not limited to: procedural care, pre/post procedural care, MD team clinical care, cycle monitoring/in cycle care, phlebotomy

- Comfortable delivering bad news or sharing sensitive information

- A proven leader with a passion for developing leadership skills in other people on your team
- Able to set goals and motivate others to perform and achieve them
- Empathetic and understand how to build trust and rapport with your team and patients
- Someone who is not afraid to voice their opinion, challenge ideas (including your own), and have tough conversations
- Resourceful, inquisitive and know how to find the information that you need
- Motivated by working in a new, modern, exciting work environment and want to do whatever it takes to succeed, even if it is not specifically your “job”
- Detailed oriented with strong organizational skills
- Passionate about the patient experience, fertility care, and reproductive health
- Excited by the concept of using technology, together with a human touch, to enhance the patient experience
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Experience as a nurse in a fertility setting is considered an asset
- BLS and ACLS certificationLicensed to work as an RN in Ontario
