Manager of Nursing Services for Seniors

Shape the future of nursing for seniors as the Manager of Nursing Services with the City of Toronto. This full-time role involves clinical leadership, innovation, and quality improvement. Nurture and oversee nursing practices in the Seniors Services and Long-Term Care Division. Reporting directly to the Director of Resident Care & Services, you will drive clinical excellence, mentor nursing leadership, and ensure compliance with best practices and regulations. Your influence will be vital in promoting high-quality resident care. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop nursing care programs and relevant policies
• Lead and mentor nursing teams toward high standards
• Conduct comprehensive audits and evaluations
• Champion clinical decision-making and accountability
• Collaborate on nursing improvements across facilities

Requirements:

• Current nursing certification from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing
• Extensive long-term care management experience
• Expertise in educational program creation
• In-depth understanding of health care policies and regulations
