Are you a creative and organized marketing professional with a passion for community engagement and event planning?

Purple Cow Internet is seeking a Marketing and Events Coordinator to help amplify our brand presence and build meaningful partnerships in Atlantic Canada. As part of our growing, cheeky, and innovative team, you'll play a crucial role in supporting local marketing campaigns, managing partnerships, and executing impactful events.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape Purple Cow's brand as we disrupt the telecommunications industry with affordable and reliable services, all while having some fun along the way!

Key Responsibilities:

- Sponsorship & Partnerships - Identify and cultivate new sponsorship opportunities with local organizations, events, and influencers.- Build strong relationships with community partners, non-profits, and local businesses to boost brand visibility.- Manage and execute sponsorship agreements to ensure maximum value and exposure for Purple Cow Internet.- Event Marketing - Plan, coordinate, and attend local marketing activations, ensuring events are on-brand and engaging.- Manage logistics, promotional materials, and on-site presence at events.- Track event performance and gather insights to enhance future activations.- Marketing Campaign Support - Assist in developing and executing local marketing campaigns aligned with business goals.- Work with the team to create promotional materials, social media content, and advertisements.- Support sales initiatives through flyering, pop-up events, and guerilla marketing tactics.- Integrate sponsorship and partnership content into marketing channels.- Budget & Reporting - Monitor and report on event and sponsorship budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI.- Track performance and outcomes of sponsorships and partnerships, offering insights and recommendations for optimization.

What We're Looking For:

- 2+ years of experience in marketing, event planning, sponsorships, or related fields.- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives at once.- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.- Creative thinker with a passion for community engagement and brand development.- Experience in telecommunications or tech industry is a plus but not required.- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for events.- Familiarity with marketing tools, CRM platforms, and social media management is a plus.
