Sales and Catering Manager

The Sales and Catering Manager role will work closely with the sales team and directly with the Director of Sales to achieve the targets set by the General Manager and executive leadership.

The Sales and Catering Manager is accountable for developing new business, lateral development of existing accounts, and contacting new customers in the market. They ensure event details are arranged properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery.

Responsible for the management of assigned sales goals and all aspects of Catering in accordance with hotel standards, the successful candidate will coordinate and contract event space and guest rooms, arrange meeting details, and maintain budgeted revenues through solicitation of business. A key team member, they will support the company's service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.

The successful candidate will have 1-3 years' experience in sales or marketing in a hospitality setting. Minimum 1 years' experience in catering, event planning or menu development is preferred. A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major is considered an asset.
