Warehouse Operations Coordinator

Job Responsibility:

Progressive Cabinets & Millwork, a member of the Cherubini Group of Companies, is looking for a Warehouse Operations Coordinator to join our team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

Summary

The Warehouse Operations Coordinator is responsible for material handling, accurate inbound and outbound shipping and receiving, and assisting in the scheduling of customer deliveries. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with colleagues in the Shipping & Receiving department to prioritize and schedule shipments while ensuring efficient use of our warehouse space. Attention to detail is important. The Warehouse Operations Coordinator is responsible for inspections of inbound and outbound goods to verify condition and quantity. It is integral that the incumbent effectively tracks and controls warehouse inventory.

Job Duties

• Assist in the coordination of inbound and outbound shipments and receivables.
• Work closely alongside Shipping & Receiving and our Assembly/Dress Out departments to ensure appropriate coordination and movement of materials and projects.
• Maintain and manage accurate records of warehouse inventory.
• Oversee receiving of products, including submitting any damage claims and returning the product to the production facility if damage is present.
• Ensure consistent organization and cleanliness of the Shipping & Receiving areas of the plant.

Requirements

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, and/or warehouse distribution considered an asset.
• Certified to operate a forklift (or willing to train once hired with the company)
• Strong focus on occupational health and safety.
• Exceptional organization skills.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
• Proficient in computers by means of maintaining accurate warehouse records and inventory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
