Treasurer and Financial Strategist Role

Become the Director of Financial Services at the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc in Strathroy, Ontario. This full-time, on-site role requires strong leadership in fiscal planning and management of IT services. You will provide critical financial advice to senior leadership and oversee all financial functions in line with the Municipal Act. Your commitment to accountability, transparency, and strategic innovation will support the Municipality's growth and service delivery objectives. Help position the organization for success in a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial and IT departmental strategies
- Conduct comprehensive financial reporting and analysis
- Mentor and develop financial team staff
- Attend meetings and serve as a financial representative
- Establish governance for procurement and risk management
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business
- Current CPA designation
- 8-10 years of progressive financial leadership
- Strong knowledge of municipal financial regulations
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills
