Quality Assurance Associate

Quality Assurance Associate position at a pharmaceutical softgel manufacturing facility in Ontario. The role focuses on compliance monitoring, document auditing, and quality checks to prevent issues in a cGMP environment working 12-hour shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-process document auditing and product quality checks; communicate findings to production and management
- Conduct final batch documentation release audits for cGMP and Standard Operating Procedure compliance
- Investigate manufacturing deviations and issues reported by production departments
- Execute weekly compliance audits in production and packaging areas with written reports
- Serve as QA representative on shift for decision-making, escalating critical issues appropriately
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field
- Manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or GMP facility experience preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation practices
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Credential evaluation from ACESC (e.g., WES) for non-Canadian degrees
Compensation: $48,000–$59,000 base
