What will you be doing!

Performing routine and non-routine preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment.

Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems to ensure safe operation and continuity of production.

Installing, modifying, and maintaining mechanical equipment and structures across site operations.

Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and work packages to ensure accurate execution of work.

Constructing, fabricating, installing, and decommissioning mechanical systems and components.

Completing documentation and maintaining accurate maintenance records and work packages.

Applying safety practices, codes, and standards to ensure compliance and a safe work environment.

Maintaining clean and organized work areas, tools, and equipment.

Participating in safety meetings and reporting hazards, incidents, and concerns.

Assisting in the training, coaching, and mentoring of apprentices and junior employees.

Other duties as assigned by your manager.

Qualifications

Education:

Secondary school graduation diploma and qualification as an Industrial Mechanic/Millwright (completion of an 8000‑hour apprenticeship).

Experience:

Experience performing maintenance and repair work in an industrial or mechanical environment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Knowledge of maintenance processes, inspection methods, and applicable codes and standards.

Ability to use a wide range of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.

Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills related to mechanical systems.

Ability to work effectively in multi‑trade teams and communicate across disciplines.

Knowledge of safety standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks effectively.

Security Clearance Eligibility Required:

Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has

a minimum requirement of 3‑5 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and/or the United Kingdom.
