Associate Optometrist (Part‑Time) – Store #009876 Responsibilities

Convey a 100% commitment to providing excellent patient/customer service. Assist with greeting patients and answering phones as needed. Conduct all services in accordance with Clinical Protocols and accepted standards of care. Ensure patients receive accurate diagnoses and appropriate recommendations. Establish positive doctor‑patient relationships. Coach Associate Doctors on clinical protocols (including chart audits). Communicate effectively with store associates to ensure a seamless eye‑care experience, uncovering patients’ multiple needs and prescribing products/services. Transition patients to sales associates with clear dialogue regarding needs and prescribed items. Facilitate training of associate doctors and store associates in orientation, front‑desk procedures, pre‑testing, telephone skills, contact lens training, clinical protocols, and Pearle Certified Eyecare Company safety, diversity, HIPAA, and loss‑prevention leadership. Encourage associate decision making at the level closest to the patient. Deliver clear, motivating, constructive feedback promptly. Address performance issues directly, initiating disciplinary action when necessary and monitoring progress. Partner with the Store Manager to complete annual performance reviews and provide feedback on associate reviews. Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve total store success. Strive to exceed expectations on all targets, including secret shops, sales plan completion, exam growth, store profitability, ancillary services, and adherence to clinical protocols. Recruit and select high‑caliber staff in conjunction with the Store Manager. Forecast staffing needs accurately based on business trends. Adhere to approved staffing and scheduling guidelines. Supervise and validate receipt of CL diagnostics and physical inventory. Ensure Managed Vision Care claims are processed timely and accurately. Take ownership of ordering office supplies and company‑approved forms. Maintain office appearance and visual displays in accordance with company guidelines. Qualifications

Doctor of Optometry. Knowledge of current optometric technology and practices. Developed communication skills, both verbal and written. Organization and time‑management skills. Benefits
