Physiotherapist for Hospital and Long-Term Care
Deep River and District Hospital
Deliver exceptional physiotherapy services with Deep River and District Health (DRDH) in a person-centered approach. Engage with diverse patient needs with a focus on rehabilitation and mobility. As a Physiotherapist, you will support clients across hospital and long-term care settings. Your expertise will include assessment, treatment planning, and intervention tailored to various medical and geriatric conditions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance quality of life through dedicated care and education for patients and residents. Key Responsibilities:
• Examine clients and develop tailored treatment plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and records
• Collaborate with healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Provide education and support for patient recovery
• Uphold all policies and organization’s values Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
• Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution
• CPR Certification in current standing
• Knowledge of geriatric care and interRAI tools
• Strong communication and organizational skills Bring your critical thinking and compassion to improve patient lives at DRDH.
