Director of Legal Affairs in Tech Acquisition

Drive legal strategies as the Director of Legal Affairs for a growing software acquisition company. Provide comprehensive legal guidance across contracts, governance, and compliance in a dynamic environment. With responsibilities spanning North America, you will advise corporate headquarters and manage legal onboarding and integration of new businesses. Your leadership will focus on developing legal infrastructures and ensuring efficient operations through AI tool implementation. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main legal advisor to corporate teams
- Advise on governance, compliance, and commercial contracts
- Support legal onboarding for newly acquired businesses
- Create templates and self-service legal resources
- Drive efficiency using AI in legal operations
- Good standing member of a relevant Law Society or Bar
- 5-9+ years of in-house legal experience
- Demonstrated commercial judgment and stakeholder management
- Proficient in legal drafting and communication
- Experience in high-growth and technology sectors
