As a Medical Director, your role involves guiding the gastroenterology therapeutic area strategically. This encompasses leadership of clinical initiatives, team training, and fostering cross-functional relationships to enhance overall medical strategy. You will be a key player in ensuring that clinical data interpretation and communication comply with standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the gastroenterology medical strategy across Canada
- Maintain partnerships with R&D for evidence generation
- Oversee local trial design and medical monitoring
- Establish strong networks with opinion leaders
- Lead compliance with medical and scientific guidelines
- MD, PharmD, or PhD required
- 8+ years of related pharmaceutical/medical experience
- Leadership in medical/scientific fields preferred
- Gastroenterology familiarity is advantageous
- Bilingual (English/French) is a valuable asset
