Transform accounting practices at HMBP Inc. as the Accounting Director, leading teams in Montreal and the Philippines. This role requires a strategic mindset, language skills, and strong management capabilities. As the Accounting Director, you will maintain and enhance the international division catering to HMBP's clientele in the Philippines. This position involves training subcontractors, liaising with teams across locations, and gradually establishing a dedicated division to streamline operations. Your expertise will drive significant improvements in accounting practices, ensuring compliance with local regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the international division supporting HMBP's clientele
- Act as liaison between Montreal and Philippine teams
- Train and manage subcontractors effectively
- Establish a division in Canada-owned by HMBP Inc.
- Set up a Montreal team pending management approval
- Trilingual in French, English, and Tagalog
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- CPA designation preferred
- Minimum 7 years in accounting firms or corporate settings
- Strong knowledge of Philippine regulations and payroll accounting
