Corporate Account Manager

Overview

Position Type: Permanent. The Corporate Account Manager will report to the Vice President, Business Development and will manage relationships with national corporate groups, account executives, and consultants. This role requires close collaboration with Medavie Blue Cross operational teams and business units to deliver customized service to large corporate clients. The successful candidate will present and promote new products and services and contribute to client engagement and satisfaction. A key focus is supporting client retention during renewal periods by ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships of trust with our corporate national groups.
• Plan, prepare, and execute a tailored and proactive strategy to meet client needs.
• Go beyond standard processes/contracts to innovate new ways of meeting client expectations.
• Coordinate internal activities to achieve client expectations.
• Play a central role in finalist presentations, trainings, and briefings with corporate account executives, plan administrators, and consultants.
• Promote new products and services to existing and new national corporate groups.
• Organize and coordinate tailor-made promotional campaigns for clients.
• Plan and coordinate governance meetings.

Qualifications

• You hold a university or college diploma in a relevant field.
• Over 5 years of experience in group insurance, making you a subject matter expert in group benefits.
• Strong customer-centric mindset with a track record of delivering exceptional service.
• Natural problem solver able to navigate complex challenges with confidence.
• Collaborative but self-motivated and capable of working independently.
• Effective written and verbal communication with clarity and professionalism.

Other Requirements

• Group insurance licence issued by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF).
• Driver’s license is mandatory due to travel within an assigned region.
• English proficiency is required to collaborate with teams and partners outside Québec who operate primarily in English.
