Job Title: TSBI / Business Systems Analyst (Data Warehouse & Data Modelling)
Location: Toronto, ON – Hybrid (2 Days/Week Onsite)
Experience Required: 6–8 Years
Domain: Banking / Capital Markets
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced TSBI / Business Systems Analyst with strong expertise in Data Modelling, Data Warehousing, SQL, ETL Processes, and Banking Data Systems .
The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technology teams to analyze legacy systems, create mapping documents, support L2/L3 data model design, and drive data integration initiatives across enterprise banking platforms.
Must Have Skills
- Strong expertise in:
- PL/SQL
- T-SQL
- SQL Data Analysis
- Experience with:
- Data Modelling
- Gap Analysis
- MS Visio
- ETL Processes
- Data Warehousing Concepts
- Ability to:
- Conduct requirement gathering sessions
- Drive stakeholder meetings
- Create technical mapping documentation
- Perform data profiling and analysis
Nice to Have Skills
- Banking domain knowledge including:
- Customer Data
- Account Data
- Transaction Data
- Experience with:
- Sybase PowerDesigner
- AWS / Cloud Technologies
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze legacy systems and source-to-target mappings for enterprise data platforms.
- Perform data analysis and profiling using SQL across multiple source systems.
- Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Prepare technical design documents and mapping specifications.
- Support L2/L3 data model creation and integration processes.
- Identify business transformation rules and surrogate key implementation strategies.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, ETL teams, and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain mapping documentation, data flow diagrams, and governance artifacts.
- Support enterprise data governance and data quality initiatives.
- Monitor project milestones, risks, and progress reporting.
- Drive data integration and optimization initiatives across banking systems.
- Ensure confidentiality and integrity of enterprise data assets.
