Pharmacist Regional Relief (FT) (Ottawa)

In this role you will support multiple locations within a three‑hour radius of Ottawa, bringing your expertise where it is needed most. Enjoy the variety of travel while still returning home to sleep in your own bed each night; no overnight stays required. Mileage and meal reimbursements are provided where applicable.
Patient Focused Care Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical services such as medication reviews, chronic disease management and care plan development. Administer vaccines and immunizations.
- Determine appropriateness of drug therapy and monitor for effectiveness, side effects, and interactions.
- Counsel patients on prescriptions, over‑the‑counter products, and health‑related topics, including indications, contraindications, side effects, and proper usage and storage.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and regulatory standards governing pharmacy practice.
- Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Licensed and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
- Injection certification is required.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
