Infection Control Practitioner at Southern Health

Join Southern Health-Santé Sud as an Infection Control Practitioner in Morris, Manitoba. This position focuses on education and infection control, driving collaboration and safety standards. As a vital 70% FTE member of the team, you will report to the Director of Health Services and bolster the functions of the Regional Staff Development and Infection Prevention & Control. The role demands your leadership in developing educational resources, conducting research, and ensuring adherence to high safety standards for clients and staff. Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the planning and implementation of educational programs
- Lead the development of policies related to infection prevention
- Identify and meet learning needs of healthcare professionals
- Support culturally diverse educational practices
- Conduct evaluations of educational initiatives
- At least five years of nursing experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent
- Active CRNM registration and CPR instructor qualification
- Proficiency in both English and French
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with insurance
