Elevate community health as a Nurse Practitioner with NorWest Co-op, focusing on the Walk-In Connected Care Clinic. This term position emphasizes autonomous care and health promotion to support the community. As a critical member of the primary health care team, you will offer episodic and preventative care in this 0.6 EFT role. Utilizing your advanced nursing skills, you’ll order tests, prescribe medications, and provide mentorship. Your expertise will significantly impact the health of the Inkster/Seven Oaks community through cooperative practice. Key Responsibilities:
- Apply advanced nursing theory for clinical care delivery
- Teach health promotion techniques to clients and staff
- Determine care strategies and evaluate patient outcomes
- Function within a multidisciplinary team for care solutions
- Conduct minor procedures and diagnostic assessments
- 5+ years of relevant clinical nursing experience
- MSc Nursing or equivalent qualification required
- Current registration with CRNM and adherence to standards
- Knowledge of cultural sensitivity and community resources
- Proficient in software tools; Accuro experience is a plus
