Join the team at Snaw-Naw-As Health Centre as a Nurse Practitioner. This full time position focuses on delivering compassionate care to Indigenous patients with complex health needs. The Nanaimo Primary Care Network is seeking a full time Nurse Practitioner to support the Snaw-Naw-As community. Located in beautiful Nanoose Bay, this role involves working closely with an interdisciplinary team to provide primary and trauma-informed care. The Nurse Practitioner will assist patients at varying stages of health, especially those from the Tsow-Tun Lelum Treatment Centre. Key Responsibilities

Deliver primary care to Indigenous patients in need Collaborate with multi-disciplinary health providers Participate in after-hours patient care coverage Manage complex medical cases and co-morbidities Implement trauma-informed care practices Requirements

Certification as a Nurse Practitioner required Experience with Indigenous health care preferred Solid teamwork and collaboration ability Excellent communication skills Willingness to engage in after-hours patient support Drive health equity and cultural competency while improving lives in Nanoose Bay through your skills as a Nurse Practitioner.
