Suncor Maintenance Planning Specialist (Oakville)

Join Suncor as a Maintenance Planning Specialist, directly impacting Central Terminals Operations. This role emphasizes designing maintenance plans to ensure seamless operational efficiency.
In this position, you will report to the Maintenance Planning & Scheduling Manager and will interact closely with Maintenance and Reliability teams. Your focus will be on developing detailed job scopes and ensuring that work orders are ready for timely execution, while also upholding data quality in SAP S/4HANA and evaluating in office risks.
Key Responsibilities Create maintenance plans for pipeline and terminal assets
Define job scope including tasks, labor, and materials
Ensure readiness of work orders for execution
Manage data quality in SAP S/4HANA
Visit sites to assess task-level risks
Requirements High school diploma or GED; trade certificate preferred
Over 5 years of maintenance planning experience
Solid understanding of asset classes in pipelines
Experience in safety-critical environments
Ability to define execution requirements and labor needs
