Plastic Extrusion Maintenance Specialist Toronto

The Maintenance Specialist is responsible for performing essential maintenance on plastic extrusion machinery and related equipment. Your technical expertise will enable you to maintain machine availability and support overall operational efficiency. You will conduct troubleshooting, manage inventory, and work alongside OEMs and regulatory bodies for effective modifications.
Key Responsibilities Perform predictive and preventative maintenance on machinery
Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Ensure compliance of control and safety mechanisms
Assist with procurement and inventory management
Maintain detailed maintenance records using CMMS systems
Requirements Vocational training or associate degree in industrial maintenance
Experience in equipment maintenance and foam extruders
Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints
Robust knowledge of various control systems
Excellent problem‑solving and teamwork skills
