In turn, we offer an award-winning environment that fosters a people-first culture with a high priority on your personal and professional growth.Your OpportunityOur Montreal office is looking for a Senior Manager, Transaction Services to join our Transaction Services advisory team and own the following responsibilities:Lead financial due diligence engagements aimed at supporting private equity funds and corporates with their investment and divestiture decisions, Analyze financial/operational results such as income statements, cash flow, working capital, capex, and net debt and conduct interviews with management to generate meaningful insights to support our clients’ investment thesis and identifying key deal risks and opportunitiesLead the preparation and review of deal-focused reports and presentations for clients highlighting key findings and the drivers / risks to earnings and cash-flowsIdentify post-acquisition action steps to achieve anticipated earnings/cash flow improvements and evaluate effects of seasonality on cash flow requirements; perform industry and company researchLead project management and deal teams for successful execution of engagements and positive client outcomesCoach, develop and mentor staff for high performance and contribute to a learning environmentGenerate new business opportunities within the Financial Advisory Services practice and BDO in general, developing long-term relationships and networksBe entrepreneurial in nature to drive growth and practice management in our growing teamHow do we define success for your role?You demonstrate BDO's core values through all aspects of your work: Integrity, Respect and CollaborationYou understand your client’s industry, challenges, and opportunities; client describe you as positive, professional, and delivering high quality workYou identify, recommend, and are focused on effective service delivery to your clientsYou share in an inclusive and engaging work environment that develops, retains and attracts talentYou actively participate in the adoption of digital tools and strategies to drive an innovative workplaceYou grow your expertise through learning and professional developmentYour experience and educationExisting CPA designation required, CBV or CFA an assetMinimum of 5 years of deal experience in either financial due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance or corporate development, some of which must have been at a supervisory levelFamiliarity with international and US markets is considered an assetExperience with VBAs, Macros, Power Pivot, Power Query and Power BI an assetExperience managing multi-dimensional teamsDesire to be a leader in a high growth, building businessMotivated, detail-oriented, autonomous, rigorous and able to work under pressureStrong work initiative and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas.Motivated to be market facing and driving relationships that lead to future work.Why BDO?Our people-first approach to talent has earned us a spot among Canada’s Top 100 Employers for 2026 .
