Senior Manager of Manufacturing Operations

Join CAE as a Senior Manager for Manufacturing Operations, leading transformation in a high-performance environment. Drive operational excellence, simplify processes, and enhance team capabilities across diverse manufacturing operations. In this role, you will oversee approximately 150 employees and implement Lean principles to improve processes at CAE. Your leadership will challenge existing practices while ensuring optimal performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and engagement. You will also be responsible for building a strong leadership team and fostering accountability and continuous improvement across your area. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead operational transformation initiatives aligned with Lean manufacturing principles
• Optimize safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement processes
• Coach teams through hands-on leadership and structured problem-solving
• Develop high-performing first-level production managers
• Manage labor relations in a unionized environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• 8 years leadership experience in manufacturing or operations
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing and operational excellence
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP, MES, and data-driven operations
• Proven ability to lead change across all organizational levels
