Freelance Accountant

Job Responsibility:

Faris CPA is looking for a senior accountant with at least 5 years of experience at a Canadian public accounting firm.

Requirements:

-Corporate tax knowledge is a MUST

-Personal tax knowledge and extensive experience preparing T1s is a MUST

-Knowledge in Taxprep (T2 and T1) and Caseware is a MUST

-CPA designation is an asset

-Audit and review engagement experience is an asset

-Experience with CRA disputes is an asset

-Must be able to work independently

:

-Preparing many years of complex personal and corporate tax returns. This would include performing the required bookkeeping and submitting a complete file for review

-Performing forensic accounting

-Preparing Compilation paperless files using Caseware

-Performing all types of reconciliations including; shareholder accounts, inter-company accounts, etc.

-Providing back-up with proper cross referencing for all types of accounts and reconciliations

-All work is done on a contract basis and individuals are considered contractors for tax purposes

-This job is fully remote and all work is freelance

Salary: $40,280.74-$81,119.11 per year
