Sales specialist (Remote)

Some of what you will do: The Vertical Sales Specialist will serve as a liaison and subject matter expert for the Facilities, Technology & Education lines of business. It includes maintaining relationships with internal business partners and customers by providing sales support, expertise, information, and guidance while recommending & closing sales opportunities.

Leverage product knowledge and vendor training to drive key category growth in Facilities, Technology and Education

Partner with AM to actively engage customer, make personalized recommendations, product solutions that will accurately reflect and address the customer's needs.

Make outbound sales calls to increase key category penetration.

Understand the sales process, sales approach /strategies and demonstrate the ability to execute consistently.

Manage DTC time by using probing skills to gain initial information needed to proceed with the quote, sales, etc.

Proactively source sales information, sales collateral that supports sales approach & customer needs.

Effectively utilize CRM systems & other applicable sales software. Find creative, relevant ways to implement the sales strategies provided by the business and Team Manager.

High School Diploma.

• Must have worked in an environment where sales, centric goal is present.
• Ability to produce required results, sales quota on a day-to-day basis.
• Proven sales ability in an environment sales metrics are measured and associate accountable to meeting goals and conversion.
• Experience working with a bonus or commission sales compensation plan.
• 3-5 years of Staples experience in sales and/or customer service environment, or the equivalent in related experience.
