Part-time Bookkeeper & Tax Preparer

We are a financial planning firm that enables individuals to focus on their passions while we focus on their taxes and other financial matters. We have a part-time opportunity for an individual to prepare T1 tax returns for Tax Season 2024 (Jan-Apr 2025) and provide ongoing bookkeeping services throughout the year. The individual who is chosen for this opportunity will be reporting to the director and have the chance to build on their tax knowledge and skills.
Expert level of using DT Max software
Expert level with QB online
Advanced using of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
Minimum 5 tax seasons of experience at a Tax Preparation Firm.
Comfortable working with different complexities of Canadian tax returns (self-employed, foreign assets, rental properties, airbnb, etc).
Fluency in English.
Knowledge of another language(s)
Experience filing T2 and T3 tax returns
Helping clients complete their T1 tax returns
Manage day to day bookkeeping for business-owner clients

We are a financial services company that revolves around the client, their business, and their family. We work with a select group of professionals and entrepreneurs who are passionate about their work and life, but are too busy to worry about their taxes and other financial matters (retirement, risk management, growing net worth, etc). We help our clients focus on their passions while we guide them to address important financial issues and their financial objectives.
Our financial planning strategy is based on a multi-factored analysis with Investments using mutual funds, risk assessment and management, income tax preparation, and tax/financial education.
