Manager, Development & Partnerships (FULL-TIME) Position Title: Manager, Development & Partnerships
Location: Hybrid / Flexible
Type: Full-Time
Evergreen Hospice is a community-based hospice providing compassionate support to individuals and families navigating serious illness, caregiving, and grief. Through counselling, volunteer programs, and community-based supports, Evergreen creates space for people to feel seen, supported, and connected.
As Evergreen continues to grow, including the development of a residential hospice, strengthening fundraising, partnerships, and community engagement is a key priority.
The Manager, Development & Partnerships supports the coordination and implementation of Evergreen’s fundraising efforts, donor engagement, and community partnerships.
The role works closely with the Director of Operations to strengthen Evergreen’s funding capacity and community presence.
Support the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns, including annual appeals and community initiatives
Support preparation of grant applications and related materials in collaboration with leadership
Events & Community Fundraising
Support development of event-based fundraising initiatives
Partnerships & Community Engagement
Support development and coordination of community and corporate partnerships
Represent Evergreen at community events and meetings as appropriate
Maintain relationships with community organizations and stakeholders
Support initiatives that strengthen Evergreen’s presence in the community
Data Management & Reporting
Maintain and update donor database with accurate and timely information
Track fundraising activities, donor engagement, and campaign performance
Support development of fundraising materials, including newsletters and outreach content
Strong coordination of events and community initiatives
- Experience in fundraising, nonprofit development, events, or related field
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- Attention to detail, particularly in tracking and data management
- Familiarity with donor management systems is an asset
- Flexibility to support occasional evenings and weekends for events
