Our company is looking for a Facility Maintenance Coordinator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work safely at all times and promptly inform management about unsafe conditions existing;
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and tools in good working condition, and notify Facilities Manager if repairs or replacements are necessary;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Maintain appropriate supply levels in assigned janitorial closets and storage areas;
  • Replace liners in waste bins, as per specs for each stream;
  • Daily maintenance and upkeep of the Cafe and Gym;
  • Collect building waste throughout the day and place in designated collection area(s) for removal;
  • On a daily basis, clean high traffic areas, meeting rooms, and spot-clean glass;
  • Performs minor electrical maintenance, minor plumbing maintenance, minor painting, carpentry and masonry work;
  • Must be able to work flexible hours at various locations and be on call as required;
  • Maintain an organized system for all documentation;
  • Oversee all facilities maintenance and upkeep, act as the external vendor contact for maintenance and repair;
  • Sign in/out and escort contractors as per Skyservice Security policies;
  • Ongoing management of the relationship and communication within all departments, tenants, and Landlords;
  • Assist with issuance, return and maintenance of security swipe cards.

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience;
  • Working knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment and products;
  • An effective multi-tasker;
  • Previous janitorial and building maintenance experience;
  • Able to prioritize with a high sense of urgency while working in a fast paced environment;
  • Able to take direction;
  • Can work independently and function cooperatively as part of the Facilities Team.
