Lead customs operations at Linamar as a Customs Supervisor. Ensure compliance, supervise a team, and drive efficiency in a dynamic customs environment. As a Customs Supervisor at Linamar, you will manage daily import and export activities alongside a small team. Your expertise will guide tariff classifications and resolve operational challenges, ensuring accurate and compliant clearance of goods. This position emphasizes collaboration with various departments and external brokers to enhance customs processes and implement improvements. Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily customs activities for imports and exports
• Assign and review tariff classification codes accurately
• Resolve documentation discrepancies and valuation challenges
• Oversee maintenance of FTA certificates of origin
• Coordinate duty drawback and recovery processes Requirements:
• 4 to 6 years of experience in customs supervision
• Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) designation required
• Strong knowledge of North American customs regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and customs systems
• Excellent analytical and communication skills Contribute to Linamar’s success by leveraging your customs expertise and improving operational efficiency.
