As we continue our growth journey, we are excited to announce a career opportunity at Soul, as Restaurant Excellence Leader (REX)

Reporting to the General Manager, the REX LEADER will lead the New store Opening team and the Maintenance team to deliver best in class guest, team member, vendor experiences and Soul financial objectives. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-4 direct reports with an overall Store portfolio representing all our KFC/KT locations across the system.

As the REX Leader your accountabilities will include:

Restaurant Excellence

· Lead the implementation of key projects/initiatives in partnership with cross functional teams to ensure seamless implementation and compliance in KFC/KT Restaurants. (Equipment, Technology, Sales Initiatives, New Products).

· Lead the New Store opening team ensuring that New store openings and store refreshes are delivered efficiently and accurately

· Centralized point of contact for the management of legal/insurance claims that are raised against KFC/KT Restaurants, presenting recommended settlement strategies for approval of the GM/CFO.

· Provide data analysis and insights that are focused on improving the team, customer and operational excellence of the KFC/KT business on a regular and timely manner, to include but not limited to ROCC, GES, Aggregator

· Partner with Learning and Development/Training leaders to develop suitable training content to support the capability building around key initiatives.

· Curate and manage the supply of tools, systems, process focusing on ease of execution, cost efficiencies and track the consistent execution within the operations teams, providing timely compliance reports.

· Partner with function leaders to represent operations leaders facing challenges affecting restaurant operations to achieve quick and cost-effective resolutions (Equipment, Technology,

· Point of contact to manage the process of solicitations and collation of key information to be gathered from the restaurants and operations teams to effectively manage Soul/KFC requests for information.

· Develop effective communications to the Operations and Restaurant teams, operating as a gatekeeper for the communications being sent to the restaurants.

· Creating a culture and environment aligned with Soul's family values, that places personal, team and business growth at the heart of everything you do

· Championing Soul's and KFC's vision for the brand, while ensuring alignment and consistency amongst the regions

As an ideal candidate you will ideally have :

· 3-5 years experience in an Area Manager role or equivalent

· Strong commercial skills & business acumen, with excellent literacy, numeracy skills and communication skills

· Excellent coaching skills that can achieve results through the team in a collaborative fashion

· A proven ability to influence thinking and direction at every level underpinned with analytical prowess

· Be an energetic person with strong interpersonal skills which include your ability to communicate effectively, work collaboratively, undertake business analysis, and leverage business acumen to provide strong coaching and influence on your teams and peers

· Possess a full driving license and have your own vehicle

· Able to be 75% of the time in the field and travel overnight when required
