Drive philanthropic growth as Vice President of Philanthropy at the Ottawa Cancer Foundation. Enhance donor engagement and community partnerships to support regional cancer care. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll lead initiatives focused on strengthening donor confidence and broadening philanthropic investments. Your role encompasses all aspects of fundraising from major gifts to sponsorship and events, ensuring strategic alignment with the Foundation’s mission. By fostering relationships and engaging actively with various stakeholders, you'll increase the organization’s visibility and supporter base across Eastern Ontario.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead fundraising strategy development for organizational goals
- Engage with key donors and community leaders
- Coordinate philanthropy efforts across all platforms
- Oversee execution of successful campaigns and events
- Manage and mentor the philanthropy team
Requirements
- Proven track record in sophisticated fundraising
- Experience with capital campaigns and donor stewardship
- Ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships
- Robust public speaking and relationship management skills
- Bilingualism in both official languages is a plus
