Director of Philanthropy & Partnerships
United Way Centraide Canada
Become a strategic leader in philanthropy with United Way Centraide Canada in Ottawa. As the Director of National Philanthropy & Partnerships, drive revenue growth and maximize engagement across networks. This leadership role requires a proactive approach to developing and executing a national fundraising strategy. You will work closely with local United Way organizations, leveraging CRM data and donor stewardship practices to create new funding avenues. Your entrepreneurial mindset will support and train others, ensuring a solid foundation for future revenue prospects. Key Responsibilities:
• Drive annual fundraising strategy for national and local revenue
• Cultivate and steward relationships with prospects and corporate partners
• Manage donor engagement for long-term retention
• Collaborate on targeted proposal development with Community Impact
• Enhance national visibility through cause marketing opportunities Requirements:
• Strong verbal and written English; French is an asset
• Proven fundraising experience with leadership skills
• Experience with CRM data analysis and business intelligence
• Travel within North America required
• Experience in capacity building and training teams Lead impactful fundraising efforts and engage with partners to foster growth within United Way systems.
