Your primary role will be to identify and cultivate new business opportunities, nurture existing client responsibilities and collaborate cross- functional teams to ensure the successful execution of our clients projects. Your strategic , thinking, excellent communication skills, and strong business acumen will drive our company's success and expansion to new heights

We are a busy construction company looking for an Business Development Associate to join our team. Your duties will include sales, logistics, cold calling, identifying prospects, Client engagement, networking. This is a full-time position from 8am-4pm; Our office is transit friendly, located across the street from the Surrey Central Skytrain Station. You will need to be familiar with the construction work sites, also manufacturing knowledge, the sales aspect of the position will require you to know the construction lingo used. You will be speaking with foremen and managers from other companies. This Business Development assistant role is versatile, we need someone who is flexible to join this great team !

Duties include:

* Sales , generating new leads and client prospects* Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients in the construction industry.*Develop marketing materials and support marketing initiatives* Receive requests for workers and relay to office team* Work closely with our dispatcher to ensure client needs are met* Send emails to current and prospective clients for business opportunities* Update and manage our CRM and database as needed with worker and site information* Sales, generating new leads and client prospects* Calling old clients to keep our relationships firm

Requirements:* Diploma or Bachelors in Marketing , Business Marketing, Construction or related field.* Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and site supervisors.* Highly self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to take initiative and achieve results* Excellent computer skills including proficiency in MS Office and internet use* English language or near first, bilingual SPANISH(preferred) as a 2nd language is a bonus* Experience in construction and/or temporary labour* Communication & Interpersonal skills, ability to take construction criticism* Problem solving skills, teamwork, adaptability, and collaboration skills* Drivers License is a requirement.

Compensation:* $20-28/hour; based on experience and what you can bring to the table* Extended medical and dental benefits after 3 months of employment* Supportive team with room to grow

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $20.52-$27.44 per hour
