EHS Manager for Quebec Operations
Shirley Parsons
Lead environmental health and safety initiatives at a strategic level within Quebec. Drive compliance and culture of safety across operations while collaborating with management teams. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Environmental Health & Safety, you will be responsible for overseeing all EHS activities. This leadership role requires extensive experience in health and safety program development, incident investigations, and continuous improvement efforts in compliance. You'll implement best practices and ensure employee engagement through effective training and coaching. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance health and safety programs across Quebec
- Lead thorough incident investigations and corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Foster a strong safety culture through training and coaching
- Analyze safety performance metrics and recommend improvements
- Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
- Professional certification (CRSP, NCSO, etc.)
- 10-15 years of EHS experience in relevant industries
- Knowledge of compliance regulations and methodologies
- Bilingual in English and French, with strong communication skills
