Join Our Dynamic Printing Team as a Prepress Operator
We're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Prepress Operator to join our printing company in the GTA. As a Prepress Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our printing process, from file preparation to final output. If you have a passion for printing and a knack for precision, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain computer-to-plate (CTP) equipment, ensuring efficient and high-quality plate production- Utilize Adobe products to prepare and manipulate files for printing, including but not limited to Illustrator, and InDesign- Perform quality control checks on files and plates to ensure accuracy and consistency- Assist with digital print production and other duties as needed- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety protocols
Qualifications:
- Experience in a prepress or printing environment, with knowledge of CTP equipment an asset- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly, Acrobat, Illustrator, and InDesign- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
