Sport Driving Canada is currently seeking a full-time Account Lead to join our client's team at the Porsche Experience Centre Toronto (PEC). Position Objective:

Account Lead is responsible for the operational management of the onsite teams and supporting the directives of the Porsche/PEC management team. This role will lead various departments of the PEC to deliver operational excellence and a successful customer experience that promotes the Porsche brand and its values. Additionally, this role will promote a positive workplace environment and team morale.

The Porsche Experience Center (PEC) is a brand immersion destination for automobile enthusiasts. It offers the ability for guests of all ages to take in the heritage of the brand, experience the Porsche lifestyle and the thrill of the drive, allowing Porsche to build connections with people from all walks of life. Guests visit the PEC primarily to engage in driving experiences behind the wheel of a Porsche vehicle on a purpose-built driver development track.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage core operations for the PEC, including driving experience, logistics/vehicle detailing, event coordination and customer experience. Customer experience includes the Customer Experience Team, Brand Ambassadors, New Vehicle Delivery and retail store support
• Ensure seamless daily operations between all PEC departments, providing strategic and operational leadership
• Maintain a successful relationship with PCL/PEC management team; function as a liaison between PCL and the vendor
• Monitor and report to Porsche on agreed deliverables vs. budget

Prior to PEC Opening:

1) Support the operations process for PEC Toronto

2) Establish operational procedures with the Operations Manager for PEC Toronto

3) Recruit and hire team members

Once PEC is Open:

• Support PCL strategic and tactical objectives, leading projects from conception to final execution
• Develop, budget, and implement employee training. Identify areas of individual training needs and respective training measures to fulfill the PEC demand as well as to develop personnel
• Ensure that all teams work together seamlessly with effective communication through recurring one-on-one manger meetings
• Supervise key events at the PEC with cross-functional support
• Assist team managers in developing their processes and refine operations manuals
• Business planning and analysis to foster growth, team performance and evaluate and overcome challenges to the business and operations
• Establish individual employee targets, hold semi-annual and annual performance and target review meetings with staff
• Provide recurring proposals and studies to PCL regarding budget matters such as pay rates, costs to PCL, trainings and head count ideation
• Support and lead various facets of the new hire process and team member retention
• Provide support and concepts to actively expand the PEC business and to guarantee respective resources
• Monitor and deliver KPI's, brand intent, and customer experience to ensure programs deliver against targets
• Lead effort to evaluate and disseminate information about competitor programs; conduct actual benchmarks with other companies
• Responsible for sustaining a positive workplace culture that supports team engagement and Porsche passion

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing or Business Degree preferred or equivalent; Master degree preferred

Experience (Job and Industry):

• 5+ years of management experience, creating and overseeing a large and diverse team across multiple functional areas
• Experience in the automotive industry and/or a track environment is preferred but is not a requirement
• Knowledge/experience in the Porsche brand and vehicles is preferred but is not a requirement
• Experience in building and leading teams, along with strong overall management capabilities, are key indicators of future success in this role
• Proven success in a fast-paced corporate environment and culture
• Background and proficiency in delivering an exceptional guest/customer experience
• The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial mindset, be solutions-focused, proactive and look for new ways to maximize value for Porsche
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to motivate both individuals and the overall team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
• Finance/accounting skills to manage and track budgets

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00-$105,000.00 per year

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
