Team Lead Esthetician

Job Responsibility:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled experienced Esthetician to join and lead our amazing skin therapist team.

As a Lead Esthetician at Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa, you will be among the most skilled and trained skin therapists in this industry, providing each client with exceptional service and results. You are an expert at resolving skin care concerns, and you will customize each treatment to your client's individual needs. You will be providing advanced skin care treatments, Laser hair removal, IPL , Skin contouring treatments. You will prescribe our professional skincare products and promote our exclusive lifestyle membership program.

We offer state of the art facilities and equipment, effective computerized booking system, PPE, uniforms, linens and professional products and professional personal development courses tuition free.

As a Lead Esthetician you will have all basic esthetic duties with the additive to work alongside management to keep the esthetics department up-to-date and meet targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demonstrate outstanding customer service
• Explain treatment to the client before beginning and offer appropriate enhancements to their experience
• Exhibit a strong desire to help others and promote the health and wellness benefits of facials
• Make appropriate recommendations on product purchases as well as facial frequency
• Willingness to learn, understand and promote all spa services and product line(s)
• Maintain a professional work environment and appearance at all times
• Lead esthetics team to meet targets determined by management
• Find creative ways to keep esthetics team active in the industry
• Promote esthetic services on social media
• Communicate and connect with management on daily activities relating to the esthetics department
• Replace supplies in esthetics rooms as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Esthetic diploma or equivalent
• Waxing is a must to qualify for this position - threading is an asset
• Knowledge and certificate in laser hair removal
• Knowledge of skincare lines and products in Dermalogica and Clarity are an asset
• Knowledge of OxyGeneo and Forma treatments are an asset
• Effective and strong sales techniques and retail experience
• Ability to host and conduct skin plan consultations
• Outstanding and considerate customer service skills
• Schedule flexibility (days, evenings, weekends)
• Strong team leadership skills, willingness to work with others

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
