Job Responsibility:
Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Benefits Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional support to clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage and understand key accounts, forming strong relationships with key decision makers, within first 90 days of hire
- Manage and understand renewals from a client standpoint within first 6 months of hire
- Escalate client experience issues on behalf of the client on an ongoing basis
- Answer complex coverage inquiries and assist in resolving complex claim issues within 90 days of hire
- Collaborate and guide clients on review of financials, claims experience, and preparation for renewal as needed
- Review, interpret, and request amendments for plans and contracts. Become the lead in this role within 6 months of hire.
- Assist in the sales opportunities of securing new clients when called upon.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience as an Associate Account Manager or Group Service Representative, or equivalent industry experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and grow relationships with ease
- Strong focus on client experience, ensuring client needs are met and issues are escalated and resolved in a timely manner
- Willing to take initiative and demonstrate leadership skills to ensure quick resolution
- Ability to work in a Team based collaborative environment but also be focused to work independently when required.
