Job Responsibility:
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating laser cutting machines and be proficient in interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality production standards while adhering to safety protocols and lean manufacturing principles.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC router and laser cutting equipment to cut materials like acrylic, ACM, aluminum, coroplast, and other substrates.
- Prepare and modify cut-ready files to ensure precise cuts.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the CNC and laser equipment as needed.
- Work closely with other team members to assist with other production tasks as required and occasionally assist with sign installations at job sites.
- Implement lean manufacturing techniques to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
Experience
- Minimum 1 years of experience as a CNC and laser operator in a signage or similar manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to prepare cut-ready files and operate CNC laser cutting equipment independently.
- Strong understanding of laser cutting parameters for various materials.
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance on CNC laser machines.
- Team player mindset with good communication skills.
- Ability to occasionally assist with sign installations in the field.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
