Laser Cutter - Metal Fabrication APS Metal Industries Location Pickering, ON Salary 22.00 to 28.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 40 hours per week Full time Evening, Shift, To be determined Starts as soon as possible Benefits: Health benefits, Financial benefits Languages English Education Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience Experience 5 years or more Work must be completed at the physical Location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting Metal product fabrication industry Sheet metal shop Responsibilities: Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications Investigate problems to fix or make minor repair Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions Operate forklift Operate laser cutters Experience and specialization Welding techniques Laser Equipment and machinery experience Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines Metal forming or shaping operations experience Cutting machine Additional information Transportation/travel information Own transportation Public transportation is available Valid driver's licence Work conditions and physical capabilities Attention to detail Combination of sitting, standing, walking Fast-paced environment Handling heavy loads Work under pressure Personal suitability Flexibility Organized Team player Benefits Health benefits Dental plan Disability benefits Health care plan Vision care benefits Financial benefits As per collective agreement Until: 2026-06-02
