Nice to meet you! My name is Samantha, and my husband (Geoff) and I have an energetic, curious, and happy but sensitive little boy who will be about 13 months old when the position starts. What we're looking for: We are looking for a live-out nanny (M-F 8-4pm) who is experienced, warm, calm and a good communicator. Our son is a very curious, active, and happy but sensitive, toddler. He is happiest with a flexible routine. Montessori/Reggio experience is a plus. We are looking for a nanny to:
- engage in age appropriate play and developmental activities (indoor and outdoors) and take him to organized activities and outings.
- Put him down for naps, feed him breakfast, lunch and snacks, and do some light clean-up for his eating and play areas.
- The ideal candidate will be familiar with gentle parenting methods, and will be patient and empathetic while setting firm boundaries.
- Provide references, a recent criminal record and background check, and up to date first aid certification.
- We are fully vaccinated and require a nanny who is up to date on vaccines as I am immunocompromised.
