Nanny Wanted - Nanny For 2.5 Year Old Boy With Pet Care For 6 Year Old Whoodle

Hello! My husband and I are looking for a long term, part-time nanny for our son, Max, who will be three in December. Our dog, Pippa (20 lbs whoodle; wheaten terrier/poodle mix), would also be around and encompasses a portion of the job requirement. Pippa is our self proclaimed “guard dog” and takes her role very seriously by jumping and barking at new comers. She also has separation anxiety, so we have chosen to never leave her alone, while we work with her behaviourist and vet and acclimatize her to being alone again. What this means for our nanny is that most of the caregiving will take place in our home, if both me and my husband are working out of the house that day. There would be no dog training or walking required. We are just hoping to find someone who loves animals and who will be patient with Pippa, as she gets to know you. Someone who understands and respects our stance on not leaving her alone. Once Pippa gets to know you, she will be your biggest snuggle buddy. Max loves music, dancing, duplo, trains, reading, building forts, cooking, imaginative play, park visits and going for walks (rain or shine). Start date: flexible Hours: 8 AM - 4 PM (flexible) Days: two consecutive days of the week (preferably Monday/Tuesday or Thursday/Friday), but also flexible. * potential for a third day of the week to be added, which would likely involve only caring for Pippa Requirements:

• Childcare experience, preferably ECE with ITE specialization
• Up to date COVID and influenza vaccinations
• Comfortable with a criminal record check being done
• First-Aid/CPR training (happy to cover cost for the course if you have not done this, or if a refresher is needed)
• Comfortable around our dog, Pippa
• Comfortable with us checking your references
• Light housekeeping (ie: cleaning up Max’s toys, loading dishwasher after his meals)
• Gentle, kind, patient demeanour
