Nanny Wanted - Seeking A Flexible Reliable And Caring Part Time Nanny

Hello my name is Rebecca. We are seeking a nanny to care for our 2 children ASAP. Our Daughter is a kind, clever 7 year old just finishing grade 1, and our son is a sweet 4 year old. We require someone with flexible availability as your schedule would be a combination of a few long days (13 hours ~5:30am-6:45pm), and several shorter days (~8 hours 7:00am-3:00pm) per month. (predetermined prior to the start of the month 20-40 hours/week - flexible). Willing to work out a schedule that works for everyone for the right candidate. No weekends will be required, but could be available if desired. I work as a Paramedic, so I work a rotating shift work schedule. My husband works part time from his home office, and part time out of town. We are looking for someone who will love our children while we are at work. Our ideal candidate would enjoy playing with them, and provide stability and consistency when we are at work. Our daughters school is a short walk away but the rest of the week is unscheduled. We are looking for someone reliable with strong communication skills as we work to balance the needs of our family together. We live close to the seawall, Granville island and a 10 minute walk from Olympic village sky train station and other transit options. CPR and first aid training required. Light housekeeping. Criminal record check and ability to work in Canada required. Drivers license not required. We are looking for someone strong and active who can manage our active children, and the many stairs in our home. We have a friendly and low maintenance dog.
