Nanny Wanted - Family In East Van Seeking Experienced After School Care (Part Time) Nanny

We are a professional couple with a 7 year old son in East Vancouver. We are seeking after-school care for our sweet and playful kiddo who is going into grade 3, starting this September. We need a nanny to pick up our son from Lord Nelson and walk home; we live 2 blocks from the school. We’d like someone who can help with snacks and meals, but the focus will be on having time with our son. We've had great luck with nannies who have loved being creative with him. When I asked him what he hopes our next nanny will be like, he said he hopes they'll really like doing art and baking and planning lots of fun after school activities together. Hours are from pick up at 3pm to about 6 or 6:30pm, Monday to Friday. We can occasionally work longer hours, so we’re looking for someone with some flexibility into the early evening. We need around 15 to 18 hours of care per week. We like to do the occasional date night and would be happy to do weekend babysitting for those times as well. We are prepared to guarantee hours. We pay via payroll and are looking for someone who is legally able to work in Canada. Having a car is an asset, but not necessary, this is more for pick up from Pro-D day and spring break camps and ideally, next summer when he'll be doing camps regularly.
