Our family in Kitsilano is seeking a part-time nanny to care for our 3 year old daughter every Thursday 0730 to 1800. She is very social and does well with new carers having always been cared for at home or in a small group setting. This position is live-out and offers an hourly rate of $28.00. We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing care as a nanny rather than a babysitter - someone who is invested in our daughter's development and nutrition (I mostly prepare the food), plans a structured day with activities and likes to get out at least once in the day. Happy to sign you and our daughter up to a class each week if interested. We prefer someone who has been employed for a prolonged period as a nanny for another family in the past and is committed to their career in childcare. Responsibilities would also include tidying up any mess creating by you or our daughter during the day - we both work long hours and want to be able to spend time with our daughter when home rather than tidying up.
