Nanny Wanted - Mommy Helper Wanted In Downtown Vancouver Part Time, Flexible Schedule

We are a family of four, with two kids aged 4 years and 4 months. We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mommy Helper to assist with a variety of household chores. We are looking for an organized individual who can help maintain a clean, efficient, and harmonious home environment. Our ideal candidate is proactive, thorough, and has a positive attitude. Household Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, and wiping down surfaces. We have a cleaner that comes on a weekly basis so this will be more surface level cleaning and tidying.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of common areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and the kitchen.
• Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens.
• Assist with meal preparation, cooking, and kitchen cleanup.
• Assist with decluttering and organizing closets and cabinets.
• Take out the trash and recycling, ensuring proper disposal and cleanliness.
• Bonus: Run errands such as grocery shopping, picking up dry cleaning, and other household necessities.

Childcare Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage with children in age-appropriate activities while a parent is at home.
• Assist with preparing snacks and meals for children.
• Help with children’s laundry and keeping their play areas tidy.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in housekeeping, home management, or as a nanny/mommy helper preferred.
• Genuine love for children and a nurturing personality.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Basic cooking skills and familiarity with household cleaning techniques and products.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.

Work Hours and Rate:

• Flexible hours (8-12 hours/week) including mornings, afternoons, and occasional weekends. Schedule to be determined with helper.
• Rate is $20-$25/hour depending on experience.
